Driven by a passion for creating positive change in public health, Gaurab Acharya has dedicated over eight years to working in the not-for-profit sector, aiming to improve the health and well-being of communities in Nepal, particularly focusing on maternal and child health.

Before joining Action for Nepal, Gaurab worked for NHSSP-UK aid, One Heart World Wide, and in consultancy roles at Avenir Health-USA and FHI 360. He has extensive experience in project design, implementation, management, monitoring, research, and evaluation. In his
role as Program Coordinator at AF Nepal, Gaurab plays a pivotal role in leading health programs that specifically target maternal and child health. He holds a Master of Public Health degree from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, and a Bachelor of Public Health from Nepal.

Outside of work, he finds joy in traveling, reading, and cherishing moments with his family.
